In general, as we are headquartered here in the US, we use American English in our copy. Default to American English unless you are creating copy for event webpages for events based in Europe or Australia, then use British English.

Common British English words and spellings that may arise in copy:

  • behaviour 

  • cancelled or cancelling

  • centre

  • co-located

  • colour

  • defence

  • favourite

  • organisation

  • programme

  • timetable (instead of schedule)

  • accommodation (instead of housing)

  • travelling/travelled

  • Autumn (instead of Fall)
